Company History

Metanomics Health was founded in 2003 and develops and utilizes the technology platform and know-how of its sister company metanomics .

metanomics has been pioneering metabolite profiling in the area of plant biotechnology and is the acknowledged industry leader in this field. Since 1998 metanomics has invested over € 30 million in its technology platform and has built an extensive expertise based on more than 600,000 broad range metabolome analyses and bioinformatics interpretations from a wide range of organisms. A team of 90 international staff to date have discovered several thousand new metabolic gene functions and created a wealth of information on complex biochemical networks and its regulation in response to effectors.
